So I was walking through my quad this morning and
I saw the most beautiful tree I've ever seen.
It was almost as if the leaves had turned
to gold.
It was the perfect inspiration for my
makeup look today.

I can so picture myself walking around campus with this look
holding a red holiday Starbucks cup and wearing my green
circle scarf from American apparel
SWOON <3

Also a new discovery!!!
Cheeky Bronze MSF makes and
amazing blush and the gold really
pops when it hits the light!
Naturally I didn't even leave my dorm wearing this makeup
ha!
I put it on after class and then sat around and
filmed more videos then took it off
to go to the gym.
oh well it was fun while it lasted!

Here's a video of the tutorial for this look!
Definitely try it out for this fall

I'm Back!!!!

Hello everyone!! I know I've been M.I.A. from
the blogging world for a few months but I'm
finally back and ready to show you all
the fun makeup looks I've been doing in college!

College has been way more overwhelming then I thought,
which is why I haven't been posting lately. Don't worry
though because I plan on posting at LEAST a few
times a week :)

So as a welcome back to myself I decided
to post some of my halloween pictures.
Halloween here is such an awesome time of the
year because everyone goes all out and it's a three night affair!

Two of the nights I was the beloved Lady GaGa
and the third night I was an 80's rocker- teased hair and all!

This is my portrayal of Lady GaGa's famous lightning bolt
across her face. I had a lot of fun with this because it took
me completely out of my element and really challenged me

I used tape to create a stencil and then I colored it
in with a NYX Jumbo Pencil in Black Bean
I set it with Carbon eyeshadow from MAC.
My eyes were way easy, which included a hot pink color
on the lid and black in the crease

The next night I opted for 80's punk rock!
I went for purple eyes (even though you can't really see them too well)
and these crazy black and silver lashes
I had a lot of looks my way from people thinking I was insane
I loved it!

I bought the studded jacket from a local store
and everything else was found in my closet
and yup that's my hair teased to the max!

This was one of the looks I did for my friend
who had to be a Tranny for her coed frat one day

Those eyelashes were my FAVE!!!!

What did everyone else go as? Send pics

xoxo Christine

Bright colors make me happy
I'm talking it makes me all-out giddy
to the point where sometimes I skip around
Of course color doesn't always mean bright eyeshadow

I love when I can play down my eyes
but really give my makeup a punch when I add color to my lips!
A personal favorite of mine is MAC's Coral Polyp

In person it's pretty intense
yet at the same time it can be toned down to
go with an everyday look

If you plan on keeping your lips a bright coral
I definitely recommend using beige tones in your crease
and putting white on the inner corner of your eyes
this will give depth to your crease and make your eyes look larger

For my cheeks I used Dolly Mix (obviously ha)
I love the flushed cheek look!

Ladies don't be afraid of bright lips!
They're flattering on everyone if you find the color for you

On A Mission Beauty At College!

Hey everyone!!!
I know it's been a while since I've posted but
as most of you know I just moved into college and it's
taken a few days to adjust myself and get settled.
Now that I've found my groove, though, I'm ready to
start posting like a fiend!

This is the look I did for my last dinner out with my best friends
My 6 <333

to be honest I'm not positive what I used.
I believe it was all CS 88 palette though- sticking
with the baby blues and whites

For my last night my family and I went down to Atlantic City
to eat and shop (hello MAC haul!!)
I wanted some drama so I went for a smokey eye and matte
red lips babyyy! I used Ruby Woo for my lips and hello Best. Red. Ever.

Now for a little dorm tour :)

This would be my bed- which is raised and has a TON of misc. stuff
hiding under there. I have a featherbed so it's actually the
most comfortable bed ever. And of course you can see my schoolwork
already piling up

I went mondo crazy at the poster sale (and I still want more)
You can see I have my Little Miss Sunshine, True Blood (swoon),
and of course Amelie posters.

On my other wall I have a Beatles poster, some
cute vintage postcards (with the likes of Spider-Man, James Dean, and Audrey Hepburn),
Alice in Wonderland, How I Met Your Mother, and Wicked
(actually Wizard of Oz but that movie scares me)

This is my corkboard with all my jewelry hanging and tons
of pictures everywhere. This seriously makes me feel
so at home and cozy all the time <3

Here's a picture of my desk. It has all the staples: CupNoodles, makeup, brushes,
printer, computer.... basically I'm never leaving
this spot :D

Finally my small book selection I brought (since I have a kindle)
On the left I have a bunch of books
for my science fiction class and on the right are my
True Blood books. Of course I can't forget Iron Man- which
was a gift from my FFB Allein (i miss you f.y.i.)

I miss posting so stay tuned for more updates
soon and reviews and tutorials

love you all

Vamp It Up + NOTD

In honor of my True Blood obsession I
decided to turn my look into a
Vamped-Up Smokey Eye

Oh and f.y.i. I only went to Barnes & Noble and
look how flashy I did my makeup lol

I started off doing a normal smokey eye.
Not really sure what I used but basically it was
Silver all over the center of the lid
Matte Gray on the crease
Black on the outer corner to smoke it out even more

I went heavy on the eye liner since it was nighttime
and I was feeling pretty fun

I knew I wanted to bold lip so I pulled out
MAC's London Life and slapped it on.
Next thing I knew I was all glamorous
(and it only took 5 minutes!)

I left the rest of my face bare because I didn't want to
go overboard or anything

For my nails I wore OPI's Dating A Royal
with OPI's Goldilocks Rocks on top.
This gives you a gold with blue undertone
(which doesn't show well with a flash)
I've gotten so many compliments it's ridic!
